It looked very dated and the dull brown  brick made the room seem dark and uninviting. Sandi painted  all brickwork a cream colour to match the walls and  then Andraya set to work giving the cement hearth and mantel a warm faux marble finish. This fireplace is now the  focal point of our room, as it  was meant to be.
